West Coast Consulting Group Customer YesVideo Wins Salesforce Service Surfboard Award
Service Cloud Implemementation is awarded prize for commitment to service, innovation and success.
San Francisco, CA, October 20, 2014 – West Coast Consulting Group, the San Francisco based Cloud consulting firm announced today that its customer YesVideo, has won the Anytime, Anywhere Service Surfboard Award at Dreamforce 14. The Surfboard Awards recognize key salesforce.com customers for their commitment to service, innovation and success through use of the Service Cloud or Desk.com. Other award winners included Coca Cola, Walgreens and The Home Depot.
YesVideo manages a volume of 10,000 incoming customer calls per week, with questions ranging from the status of their order to detailed technical issues. The company had been using salesforce.com in their call center for 5 years but had never customized the system.
“West Coast Consulting Group re-launched our Service cloud using best practices that improved our call center performance by 35 percent,” said Lisa McCabe, Vice President of Operations at YesVideo.
West Coast Consulting Group spent four months implementing a system that fit the business requirements of YesVideo. They customized Salesforce, and created a structure that supports different case types, allowing prioritization. Automated workflows assign cases to different groups. They cleaned up the abundantly available customer case data and migrated it into the new system.
Less than a year after the Service Cloud re-launch, YesVideo won the Most Customer Friendly Company of the Year award by Best in Biz and now the Service Surfboard Award by salesforce.com.
